Last Aquarium Visit

I absolutely love that they hold hands now!
Too cute!
All the times we had been to the aquarium this was the 1st and only time we saw the sea turtles fed!
Playing together!
And of course we conclude every aquarium trip by throwing pennies into the fountain.
The Texas State Aquarium has been such a great place for our family and visitors!

Fancy Nancy

Soooo posh!

This is when Loganne spotted "Sister"!
I posted the pictures from Kaleigh's Storybook Character Parade because I know these are the pics everyone has been waiting for!  She looked too cute and was adorable waving at everyone along the parade route!  She was so excited to go to school dressed up!  Loganne also enjoyed the parade and was very good!

Red Ribbon Parade

To conclude Stay Drug-free week the kids from all the schools get to participate in a parade!  Kaleigh has been so excited about it and she thought it was so cool even though we basically walked around the block!  It was fun because she was able to walk with the infamous Cayden and her beloved teacher, Mrs. Collingsworth!

Pumpkin Picking

So we discovered that pumpkin picking and fall-related activities are not quite the same in Texas as they would be in NY or any other colder state but nonetheless we had fun!  We went with the Erdners to a local church and picked out some pumpkins and took some pictures.  We enjoyed dinner and then ice cream on the beach!  It was a gorgeous fall day and then the girls came home and decorated their pumpkins with face stickers.  Fun stuff!

Goooooal!

Today was Kaleigh's 5th soccer game and she played awesome!  She scored twice (even though one counted for the other team) and she hustled, dribbled and ran so hard!  I am so proud of her and feel horrible that this exciting news cannot be accompanied by pictures because I forgot the camera today.  I hope the little soccer player keeps it up and I'll catch her in action next week!  Now I understand why parents are so intense on the sidelines.  I'm not gonna lie I was into it and yelling with excitement quite a bit!  It was so fun and I am such a proud soccer mom today!

BOWLING!

Kaleigh and her friend Amelia (aka Alexa and Lilianna)

Cheering!
Lucas and Amelia

Today we went with some friends to the good ole bowling alley and had a blast.  It was the girls first time and Kaleigh really liked it!  Loganne of course did not play but was so excited for the other kids she didn't really care.  She enjoyed cheering and snackin'.  So much fun and definitely an activity we will be doing again.  After bowling we went to Los Comales (awesome Mexican food) and then we hit McDonalds' play place!  It was such a great afternoon/evening and now everyone is pooped and ready for some zzzzz's!

Alathea Papergoods

Here's the beautiful set I just ordered!

Just wanted to let my readers know that my talented sister-in-law, Sara is livin' the dream and has started her own business on etsy.  She handcrafts stationery, cards, invitations etc. and her work is beautiful.  She has quite a few products available already but will also do any custom work that you may need!  Check out her work at www.alatheapapergoods.etsy.com  and start shopping!

Horseback Riding for All

The other day we went out to Rockport and we were all able to ride a horse.  Kaleigh has been taking lessons and really enjoys it so she was excited to ride a different horse named Epic.  The most fun though was being able to ride with Loganne and boy was she into it.  I'm hoping our military lifestyle prohibits Daddy from buying his girls a horse!

Alone with Loganne

My National Geographic picture!

The other day Loganne and I headed to the aquarium for the first time without Kaleigh.  We had a lot of fun and I was very pleased with her behavior.  She enjoyed being the focus for a few hours!

Game Day

Kaleigh and her fellow Mystics!

Well as many of you know last weekend was Kaleigh's 1st soccer game and things could have gone better.  She had a rough introduction to the game of soccer and spent most of the game crying or screaming.  The problem was really two fold...1.  She was convinced she was being left out and no one was "sharing the ball" and 2.  She refused to run because she was sweating.  So for now we are going to keep the videos private but here are the pictures from game 1!
